I looked it up on youtube. The video is 4 years old. Why on earth hasn't this been integrated into more vehicles yet?!!!

Wow....that is awesome. Probably very costly. Id love to see that in person. Ive watched the video a few times, and its still hard to imagine how it really works and where it goes

For starters, I think cost, weight, complexity, structural integrity are a few of the reasons why I think this didn't catch on.

You wouldn't be able to get in/out of your car in a normal parking lot/spot. Just think how many times you have had to sqeeze in your door because somebody parked a little close.
