Trickflow tiwsted wedge heads. I run them on my 347. They are right out of the box No porting or polishing and have gone 9.50s. Another good head is Edelbrock Victor Jr.s. Say they are good out of the box for 500 hp motors. I used a set on my 331 that I had. Never got any numbers or times from that motor. But it did run strong

A lot of people like AFRs 185 to 225 might be a good way to go also Probally best bet on those heads would be the 1 right in the middle the 205CC head. I never used them but a lot of people seem to like them

TFS heads are a good bang for the buck head, there is a guy in the Corral with a STOCK H.O. cam, un ported TFS heads, TFS intake, and Si-Trim running high 9's. My friend ran mid 11's with some on a home built NA 306 and trapped 119. Edelbrock and AFR are nice as well.

I have heard the new Fast as Cast TFS are beasts...

As much as I love my afr's stick with a brand that the big names work on! IE TEA or Fox Lake. As time passes and you are looking for more power, just send them in!

I don't think they will work on a factory head... They won't even touch my afr's. I would buy a head that they do work on so that when the time comes and more money is avilable you can send them out!

I doubt they will mess with the 351 heads but THUMPER will in FL. But by the time you get them ported, valve job, etc. you are 3/4 the way to a set of aluminum heads.
