We’ve got to hand it to the boys at Roush when it comes to showing off their 2014 Stage 3 Mustang. Last week they released some beautiful images of a yellow and silver example, and now they’ve followed that up with this fantastic video of the 575 horsepower Mustang shredding its rear tires in a massive burnout. The company says the obliteration of the rear tires was part of a “compound validation test,” perhaps done to ensure that the Cooper RS3-S rubber are up to snuff when it comes to enveloping your entire car in a cloud of tire smoke. Yeah….right.
Whether the reason, we’re glad that Roush was willing to sacrifice a set of tires for our enjoyment. You can watch the video for yourself below.
