Here's my 86 I bought July 2010 on Long Island. Drove it back to Chicago. It's my second SVO, 4th fox body. This one will be a keeper, probably street it a little and mod. Might buy a more mint on in a few years to drive ocassionally and leave stock.

Its basically an SVO with no options, no A/C no power windows, no power locks, no radio, special springs, and im sure im forgetting something. The idea behind the car is that it was supposed to be a straight up road racer. Im not sure of the numbers of them that were built but supposedly there were less then 200, and in 85 they say they only built 30. Im not saying it's gonna be worth anything but the SVO Mustang as a whole is just a cool, fun car and i wanted one since i was a little kid. The years of being outside havent been nice to it, but my father and I are going to start a ground up resto on it now that i finally have a garage to put it in and do the necessary work. I just need to find a shop that can do the body and paint work I need. A few months ago my dads friends wife smashed the l/s quarter panel and its surely gonna need one hung

Nice car, good luck with the rest/repair. I had an '86 and am a big fan. I wish I had one now to compete in solo II autocross...I have too much money in my 5.0 now to abandon it.

Yeah, I was contemplating selling it but honestly don't know if I could actually go through with. She's the most perfect Fox Mustang I've ever had the pleasure to drive/own.
