2012 gt what does that button on the wheel mean ,it says phone but i cant find what it really does or how to set it up in the manual anyone know?im assuming its for bluetooth...its a base model gt btw,thanks in advance.

Im assuming that its a bluetooth button. There should b a way to set it up in the owners manual. The only thing i can think of.

is your car equipped with SYNC? I am assuming it is...
Well if you look on the dash near the radio buttons, you should see a button that says "phone" press that button and you should be able to navigate from there how to pair and use a phone thru the sync system

The 2010 and 2011 Base models did not have those buttons on the steering wheel, as the base radio didn't support those features.

Even if you didn't pair a phone, I think the phone button should still show something on the radio display (like giving you options to pair a phone). It will not announce anything over the speakers, you have to press the voice button for that.

Typically when I make a call, I press the phone button then the voice button, then say "Call someone".
