This past year Shelby unveiled several of their new Mustangs at the major auto shows, including the 2012 GT350 at the Chicago Auto Show in February and the 2012 GT500 Super Snake and the 2012 GTS at the New York Auto Show in April. It looks like Shelby will be using auto shows as a platform to announce new vehicles once again, as we’ve been informed that they will be unveiling a new vehicle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month. The exact vehicle being introduced has yet to be disclosed, but our best guess is that it will be a new version of a Mustang in their current lineup – most likely the GT350 – featuring the styling updates from the 2013 Mustang. Other possibilities, although less likely, include the 2013 GT500 Super Snake or the 2013 GTS.
We’ll be in Detroit come January to cover the auto show, so we’ll be bringing you all the live details and photos of Shelby’s latest Mustang as soon as the wraps are pulled off the car. Stay tuned…
