Hell for you, it would probably be best to take the Cross Sound Ferry to New London, CT and drive from there. I think they have ferries with car services there.

Well just got back,more eye candy then anyone could possibly imagine,everything mustang was there, my class was huge and was one of the last to be judged,they spent almost an hr on my car alone,came home with a second place pics in a day or two

Just came back from our trip to Rhode Island. I can't believe how many car shows and cruises were taking place. The Charlestown Seafood Festival had some older cars in their show. The South County Commons has a cruise every Tuesday. We attended both. There is also a car show at Aunt Carries Seafood restaurant on Wednesdays (had iffy weather). Not sure if they were all there all these years that my family has been vacationing there and I never realized or what but wow.
