Okay so my taxes are in and it's time to order the 3.73's and get them installed...what install kit did you get with your gears? i have the money and looking to order everything asap but i dont want 2 leave ne thing out...
also sum1 mention'd 2 me that my car couldnt just be programed for the gears w/ a hand held that i would have to buy the speedcal?..and if i dont need the speed cal can i just program it once with like a sniper tune or do i have to buy ahand held tuner to have it at all times?...

Where did you order your gears and install kit from?Price?

Place to get them installed RIGHT and price?..

You can order all your stuff from American Muscle. I'd recommend FRPP gears. Actually, you can do what I did: Order the gear/tuner package. It includes FRPP gears, gear oil, and the tuner. The speed shop you'd take it would have the bearing kit, etc. The tuner will adjust your speedo correctly to the gears.

I have my tune from AM, and my car runs very well...A/F is good, nothing is out of sync.

SCT...almost every shop uses their software.

Ya i filled out my tune sheet...really dont have much 2 "tune on" right now with just a bbk CAI and a flowmaster cat back but planning on doing atleast a o/r pipe and hopefully longtubes by the end of the summer but not going 2 do a o/r pipe till i decide on the long tubes so i dont have 2 buy another mid pipe....yes i got the 5% off thanks to Newyorkmustangs, i obviously heard of AM before this site but i put that i heard of the site from here....andd Shawn idk where i'm taking it yet, might have some-1 that works on my buddies track cars put them in...but i'll let uk

UnrealFord and Chuckie B, where do you guys live I have a guy here on Long Island that does excellent work and is very reliable, honest and straight forward. Install should run you between $200-300 in general.

Chuckie B, in the future when you do more exhaust mods and anything else like a TB/Plenum combo or like you said your headers and new midpipe, if you order them through American Muscle they will rewrite you a new tune for free. They will make the adjustments and email it to you, all you have to do is download it to your new tuner and then plug it in and download it to the car.

I bought an SCT SF3 tuner and all the shops I have talked to and used go with SCT. It's nearly idiot proof... I can use it even
