Default putting a 2004 Mach1 motor in a 2000 gt

i plan on making a Cobra clone (don't want to modify a real one). i'm getting a 2004 mach1 long block, i'm going to keep the crank but get new rods and pistons, going to put ford gt cams in it and a Kenne Belle with a mamouth kit, etc. i'm pretty sure i'll need a mach1 wiring harness and headers, is there anything else i'll need? i'm also going to put in a 6 speed manual trans. cobra brakes and body parts.
any help will be great

hate to burst your bubble but doing all that will cost you about 15,000. Your better off getting a real cobra then.

While, I'm no expert on swaps, I wonder if you would need a new harness?
Just an initial thought, but what input (i.e. sensors) would the Mach 1 motor have that isn't represented in the 2V harness?

Is there any that you can think of?

You may have to lengthen some wiring, but that's not an issue.

You are going to have to hack up the 2V harness and change over a lot of wiring. It took me almost 3 days to make a harness

I agree, why not start off with a Cobra and save all of that work?

SvtLongisland's latest status update: Someone has to want a 4V Cobra engine/tranny with everything they need to bolt it...
Default Re: putting a 2004 Mach1 motor in a 2000 gt

Vorstang I've got a complete drivetrain for you said for the coolant crossover, alternator, intake electronics like the idle air and engine harness. Your 2V gt harness WILL work with my engine, you'd need to lengthen only a couple wires. Otherwise I know someone who can get you the engine harness you'd need for probably under $80.00. My block is aluminum, and is a Teksid, and I'd be including my k member, tranny, driveshaft and the complete engine said for things I have listed. E.g: All the pumps, intake to oil pan, even the mass air, rails and injectors are included.

PM me and lets make a deal!

Nope he can run off his 2V computer as well, he will WANT a tune, but since he's planning on building the motor anyways, I am sure that was in the plans.

Incorrect.

The 2v computer and harness will work on a 4v. Some wires might need to be lengthen. You will also need to reverse the polarity on the COP harness ends.

The main difference between the 2v harness and the cobra harness is the cobra harness has 2 IAT where the 2v will only have one.
