I've been trying to find a body shop to paint my 65 coupe in the Binghamton area. Some of the local shops are still recovering from the flooding last year and others don't even answer their phones. I want a decent job, not a show car. I want it to be driven and don't want to be afraid of fingerprints etc. Can anyone recommend a shop around Binghamton ? The car doesn't have and engine yet and will have to be towed to a shop. Thanks.
I asked my regular mechanic who he'd recommend, so I went to him. He was too busy but recommended another guy. So I went to him and he was too busy but recommended another guy. That guy was just finishing up a job and has my 65 in there now. I also ran into a retired used car dealer who praised this shop and a friend who restores Jags also had work done there and was pleased. So, I guess I lucked out. Since they started on it I found out that just about everything was replaced on the car except the roof and trunk lid. The quarters were primered so I wasn't aware that they were new.
