Default Open or closed oil breather cap

Hey guys, I put in a Monte Carlo bar, got a new air filter as the old one doesn't fit with the new bar. Do I need to attach the breather cap tube to the filter(through the inside hole) or just get a closed cap? thanx

Hey Paul,
The idea of that hose was to catch any engine blowby for emissions. So you have 3 options. 1) You can hook up the hose to your new air cleaner. 2) You can buy a new cap without the hose attachment. Or 3) You can use your current cap with the hose removed. Anyone of the above choices will work.

Thanx Ponyboy. But w/choice 3-use current cap w/ hose removed.--than the right angle pcv that goes into cap is still there. I f I take that out--than the hole in the cap is still there. Is the hole fine or what do I plug it up with? thanx Paul
