scotts99snake's latest status update: I am a lobster! | Re: O2 SLOW response.. wtf? Good call Chris. I agree. Narrowband O2 sensors must maintain an operating temperature of at least 300* Celcius. Although they have heating elements built in to help them get up to temperature quicker, the exhaust must maintain this temp. One other thing (more common on Long Tube Headers), the O2 sensors are placed further away from the engine than stock. This will cause a small delay in info getting to the processor. Processors generally compensate for this delay. However, sometimes it needs to be adjusted for in the tune.
