I wouldn't go crazy...consider the fact that the blocks tend to split around 500 hp and the car is 225 hp. I personally wouldn't go much more than a 125 or 150 shot on a stock motor, then again I personally wouldn't use nitrous in the first place.

Using nitrous is like dating a stripper. You want to but are scared of the consequences. Then when you do it you can't stop lol.

100 shot should be no problem.. just make sure you adjust the timing to fit the shot...

Hey listen take it from me. I had a complete stock block cam intake heads. With the alist of bolt on's. Mac chrome cold air elbow Mac equal lenth shorty's 2 1/2 Mac h-pipe FlowMaster American racing cat back. 373 gears. Stock 19 pound injectors. Ford racing 190 lph fuel pump. A Mac ajustable fuel regulator and gauge set at 40 pounds. And I had a wet Nos throttle body plate fogger set a 200 horsepower shot. And I never had a problem with my engine or anything what's so ever. So trust me when I tell you a well taken cared of stock motor will hold up to 225 shoy. I emtied 2 bottles every weekend on my LX 5.0 for a hole year. And everything was great. Do remember you need to run a colder spark plus when spraying. Oh and I did have a Msd timing retard switch. And a Msd 6al with a Msd blaster coil. Follow those steps. And you will whip some ass. No bullshit.

Even if you had forged pistons, the stock heads and cam can't create enough air flow to take advantage of a 225 shot. There comes a point where the extra nitrous you are spraying becomes redundant and you will get the same effect from much less.
Not to mention, any detonation and you will be pounding the stock upper rod bearings flat.

Stock heads are where it's going to bottleneck. I would wait and save up for some new heads, I hear good things about the Edelbrock ones and they aren't all that expensive for aluminum heads and you can usually get a great deal with soem of the sales Summit has. If a small shot won't suit you, I'd skip it for now and start saving for an H/C/I.
