Steeda have announced a new rear x-brace for the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang, providing increased stiffness and torsional rigidity to the rear portion of the chassis while allowing the rear seats to stay in place. Constructed from 4130 Chrome Moly tubular steel with structural steel mounting brackets and a baked powder coated finish, the x-brace mounts to the rear shock towers just behind the rear seats and can be either bolted in or welded in for installation. Steeda manufacturers the x-brace at their facility in Valdosta, GA and says that it is designed for use on the street, track and dragstrip. Retail pricing is listed at $279.95.
