Cool Mustang 3 convertable
Now S197 has a cloth convertable top option. Ford could go the route of many EUROPEAN sports coupes and go" HARD RETRACTABLE TOP". It would increase the price, for such an option. The new car is GLOBAL DESIGN with that ,this option could be more fesable.Aftermarket has this already for current S197.
TWO DIFFERENT AFTERMARKET CONVERSIONS. SIMILIAR HARD TOP DROP. ORANGE TOP SEEMS MORE REFINED.

YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugly, butt ugly, huge gaps in panels, no rear seat in a vert, c'mon, & afraid to ask how much weight it adds. Its not for a Mustang IMHO, sorta like putting a hitch & a trailer on a stang.

Hey. I have a vert and have a back seat.
Last year at Carlisle there was a hard top vert custom there. It was cool but the cost was 15k for the conversion. No thanks. I will keep my cloth top blown vert.

Cost is too high. Then there also would have to be a demand for it. Currently that does not exist.
