Hello All,
My familiy and I are moving to the area at the end of July. We are currently in Germany and expect to depart at the end of June.
About me, I'm a fairly decent wrench turner. All of the work done to my car other than the machinework and assembly of the long block was done by myself. I enjoy helping other folks out, but feel that I need to add that I don't enjoy being considered free labor.
I guess my opinion is if you have a project and I give you a hand, be thankful, but not expecting that I have an obligation to take on your projects. I'll get off of my soapbox on that one.
Speaking of projects, I just "somewhat" finished up a single turbo kit on my 98 cobra. By Somewhat, I mean that when I went to tune it, the meter is pegging. I will change from the tonsil style meter to a slot style meter and I hope to have it tuned by the time I arrive. I expect to hit some more snags along the way. For example when I went WOT, one of the vacuum lines blew off. I fixed it, but expect the next weak link to show once I can begin to go WOT....it's a process that I'm sure others who have dealt with FI are familiar with.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being back in the U.S. and having a house with a GARAGE!!!!! I'm so tired of having to keep my car out in the weather.
