Hey all,
Im sure most of you have heard the news about the two police officers who were killed due to cowardly acts recently. I am in touch with Bobby Sands, the organizer of LIEC (Long Island Exotics Club) and I have heard that there will be a cruise in order to honor the fallen officers. So far there is a large amount of people planning to attend, and I would think that we as a group should really consider attending. I will be attending the meet and cruise.
$25 entry fee will be collected for each vehicle participating. 100% of the money raised will go straight to the families of the police officers who were murdered.
Also, direct words from Bobby Sands regarding how the money will be handled: "We are waiting for the PBA to give us a fund name for checks. Cash will be handled by Jeff Ford and turned over directly to the families with the help of the NYPD."
THE EVENT BEGINS AT 8:30AM!!!! We will have a FULL POLICE ESCORT to cruise to QUEENS
The meet will begin at EXOTIC CLASSICS and will roll out to Cunningham Park in Oakland Gardens (Queens) (ROUTE DIRECTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED)
****NO PRE REGISTRATION NECESSARY****
**Complimentary breakfast will be available after donation is given in**
ALSO: all vehicles that attend will be provided a Blue Ribbon!!!!!
The head count for attendance is over 200+ vehicles!!!
