That should be a handy list for some of the early car owners here. When I eventually find my list(good luck) I'll post it as well.I came up with a list of different bulbs that can be swapped in place of some of the standard bulbs to offer more light,The best place for these is in the stock dash gauges. Thanks again for posting this list.

This is an excellent guide. One thing to keep in mind; sometimes there are replacement/equivalent bulbs available. Be careful. I was looking for 1445's and there were some T53's available. They'll fit but the output is 1.7 w vice the 2.1 w for the 1445.

I have been looking to upgrade my dash bulb with LED lights... But I've read that people sometimes have problems with the heat output. Any insight? Here is the link for the ones I'm looking to purchase, Mustang Project - Product Display
Thanks!!

Thanks for posting that! I was just replacing the courtesy lights under the dash on my 66. They had 631's in. I bought some replacement 631 bulbs. They would not fit. The problem is the new 631 bulbs have a lip on the shell right where it meets the glass. The older 631 bulb doesn't have this lip. The lip hits the socket FYI. I used 1003 bulbs
