Why is the price difference between the intercooled and non-intercooled kit $1100? Cant I just buy an ebay intercooler?

Also, How safe is the Kenne bell tune that the kit comes with? Should I still have it dyno tuned?

Well I have a 06 gt. The intercooler upgrade is two fold. One cooler went in my manifold and the other went in front of my radiator. In regards to the tune. I went and had dyno diagnostics done after installing the KB tune. Tune was perfect. The tuner said he may be able to squeeze a few more horsepower out though. With all the hoses , pumps , brackets etc I feel the KB price was pretty good

Because the actual intercooler sits in the intake where the valley is and the heat exchanger goes int the front of the car. So you have the intercooler, coolant hoses, reservoir, water pump, wiring, and heat exchanger.

Is it worth the $1100, YES.

The benefits of having it intercooled are too much to list.

From people's testimonials, I hear that the tune from KB is dead on. I'm all for dyno tuning, though. If you were doing the install your self, I would say slap the tune on, until you got the car over to a shop and have them run a few dyno pulls, and see where the car is it.

Dyno diagnostics typically cost about $100. Good insurance
