I purchased this car when I was 16 years old (10 years ago). It was the car of my dreams! I worked all through high school sometimes 2 and 3 jobs to pay for the car, the MODS, the tickets I received in the car and the insurance on my own. It’s been an ongoing project since I bought it. The day I bought the car it was nicknamed “The Strong Stang” by a co-worker at the time and the name stuck over the years.

What makes this car so special to me is I have turned every bolt and physically built this car from the ground up on my own. I have been with it through thick and thin including lying on concrete floors all winter to get it done and ready for spring. Even staying up to 3am when I had to work in a couple hours!! The part that makes it all worth it is when you are on the highway and you pull up to a car with kids in it and they all glue themselves to the window and you can see them saying WOW, Mom and Dad check that car out!!! There’s nothing on the face of the planet that is better than an excited kid!

how can u even compare these cars? Honestly i think the MOTM should be changed around to categorys or sections.. these cars are all powerful special and unique in their own way so how can you compare a cobra to a mint condition sn95 to a unique body kit s197 and so on...CONFUSION!

I have to agree with Jen on this one. They're all very fine specimens, but it's like comparing apples to oranges. Yeah, they're both fruit, but are unique and different in their own ways...Maybe that didn't come out the way I wanted it to, but I hope you guys/gals get my point.

While I like the idea of having a MOTM, at the end of the day it ends up being either a popularity contest, or a divisive line between who likes what styles of Mustangs.

I voted for Rusty, that is one sexxay black snake. Granted, StrongStang's my hombre on this board, but in all honesty, the only SN-95s I like are the '96 Mystic Cobras and the '98 Chrome Yellow / Bright Atlantic Blue Cobras. That's not a knock against his Pony, it's [Night at the Roxbury] sweet ass sweet [/Night at the Roxbury], but just not my style.

...Gotta remember, whem MOTM was started, we only had a limited amount of members....NYM has GROWN very quickly & maybe it's time to change things up!

...So, maybe in the near future, MOTM should be broken in groups such a Fox's, SN-95's, Termi's, S-197's, Classic's...to play on equal ground! Just my
