Default Hood Bolts

Damn, got hood struts and a custom hood liner to install. Problem is the top two hood bolts one on either side will not come loose. The whole bolt spins and there's not enough meat to grab the end to hold it with anything. I could and probably will have to use a cutoff wheel and cut the nut off and replace the bolts. I HATE these little problems.

Just cut them. It's always nice to freshen up the old bolts on any part you change out. Especially so on older cars. And they aren't expensive, so it's worth it. New ones will be shiny lol.

Yeah I know, but I think the bolts are pressed into the support plate that is on the other side of the fiberglass. I might have to drill out the remnants of the bolt which is getting way more involved then I wanted to to install these parts. Although at that point I might as well tap the hole on the plate and put bolts up into it instead of trying to get bolts down through it with nuts.

It's more of a pain, but still not too bad, so it'll be worth it in the end.
