so the other day after driving for about a half hour, i stopped to talk to a friend and out of no where the car started making this pretty bad sound,
the sound starts when i turn on the ac but does not go away when i turn it off.
noting seems to be wrong visually.
ac seems to work
car has just over 9k miles and mods include intake, sc pulley, prochamber h-pipe. cat back and a tune. mods have been on the car for about a year and a half/ 1000 miles
and idea what could be the problem/ here is a vid of the sound.

I'd say, taking a guess from my kitchen of course, that the bearing on the AC compressor went on it. It doesn't start to make the noise till you put a load on it. Sounds bad, but it's my guess from a video. Try removing the serpentine (just take it off around the AC pulley, you don't have to completely remove it from the car) and turn the compressor pulley by hand and you'll be able to feel if that's it or not. Know what I mean?

Yeah sounds like your AC compressor is shot. Never heard one sound that bad before but you'll definitely need a new one.
