bulldog107's latest status update: Getting bored.. Need more power..think I might finally ditch the stock heads.
Default Heads

If I get GT40P heads,do I need special headers? I currently have BBK shorties on my stock heads. I know there are way better heads out there but with 3 kids it's hard to get the best.

The GT40P heads do require the special shorty headers, but I can't remember if the BBKs fit or not. Hopefully someone else will chime in. If you do end up getting the GT40Ps make sure to upgrade the springs if they are straight from the explorer.

I actually like the plug angle on the P heads better. With a 90 degree spark plug boot, you can run the wires under your headers, it helps clean up the engine compartment a little.
