im going to be gettin the sct handheld tuner but where should i get it from, would the AM tune be better the the bresnspeed tune or does it not matter at all. i did hear alot of good things about brenspeed didnt really hear to much about AM........ thnx for any input

I got mine from Don LaSota at lasotaracing.com .... It comes with 2 or 3 canned tunes of your choice. He knows his sh** and is very helpful. I would highly recommend him.

got mine from brenspeed! free tunes if you buy parts there. cant beat it. 93 octane tune for my cams was 100% on the dyno. def rec. them!

I have an email Tune from Bama.

All have a free lifetime tunes, so if you have basic bolt ons, AM will be fine. If you are going with drastic mods, then you will need a custom dyno tune.

thnx alot guys for the info might be going with AM cuz of the gear and tuner combo they have also gonna do 31spline and 31spline axels since i plan on blowing it soon

I got mine from American Muscle and they have helped me out a few times. Even if I didn't buy a new part I called and the guy made me a new tune at no cost

Getting the hand held is one thing, but typically we pick up 20-30hp with a custom dyno tune vs a canned tune.

yea i now but i just need the tuner to get the car to stop running lean when i get everything i want done like the kb and other supporting mods thats when ima take it to a dyno shop............ also picking up 31spline and 31spline axels to beef up the rear end with the 3.73's

well when i had gotten the lt headers installed it started running lean so i had my mechanic check everything maf 02 sensors and w.e else then i called a bunch of places like brenspeed and they told me it because of the lt headers then i followed up on it and got some similar answers from other people............ but he also installed lt's on a bunch of other cars and they run fine except for i think one other one...........but if u have any insite on to wat it could be im all ears the tuner is just to follow up on a lead so idk if it def gonna work just hoping for the best

The 93 performance tune from AM for my basically stock '98 GT caused my motor to detonate. Their retune was better, but still detonated. Just my experience.

When I had my car dynoed at MM months ago, everything was normal.
