Evolution Performance takes their stock 2015 Mustang GT M6 and throws a Vortec VJ Trim supercharger on it and takes it to town! With their new VJ Kit consisting of a V-7 JT Vortech Supercharger Kit, Injector Dynamics ID1000 Fuel Injectors, TiAL Sport Q 50mm BOV, Evolution Air-To-Water Intercooler System with an Evolution Super Stealth Plenum, American Racing 1 7/8 Longtube Headers with Off Road X-Pipe and Pure Thunder Exhaust. Mind you this on the stock engine with only some fuel rails, ID1000's and a Boost-A-Pump. Impressive none the less. Lets see how long this will last though since there have been Boss 302's that have lived at this power number before for a little while. Also, maybe we can see if Ford addressed the issues that the 5.0s have been having with some good amount of boost and the cylinder bores cracking under the pressure.
A little underhood action of the beast.
This is with the stock exhaust system from the headers down to the mufflers. With this pull they made 811HP and 601Ft./lbs. of torque. Not bad not bad.
Let's kick it up a notch though! With some adjustments to cam timing and the addition of some American Racing 1 7/8 Longtube Headers, Off Road X-Pipe and American Racing Pure Thunder Exhaust System the car now puts down an impressive 901 (lets round it up)HP 641 ft./lbs. on 16lbs. of boost.
