opcorn:should FORD offer an entry level 4 cylinder with 300 hp on the 2015? would it sell? is the 4cylinder a viable alternative? now we have the 5.0, 3.7 , possible 2.5l ?
4 cyl would be nice, but the Mustang has grown so large, myself I loved the 1990 4 cyl LX I had, awesome MPG, dependable, and I still had it dressed up with GT wheels and tint.
you got it right. want a cheaper version car like the LX.model variation will be important .the price of the car has grown to a high level.for a fully loaded GT with drop top over 40K. they should make an SVO version and put it into the option groupings for engine choice.the main thing mustang has going for it is CUSTOMIZATION when bought STOCK. my GT cost 38k with my loan in 2009 .sticker 35k plus tags. the muscle cars period have high cost,CHALLENGER, MUSTANG and CAMARO. on a side note mustang owners on the highway better watch out for the new 2013 hyundai GENESIS COUPE. there is a proto type mule testing with a ROOTS SUPERCHARGER , looks EATON . saw the under hood spy shots. it may be dropped into the R SPEC car. HPR over 400. this car then really has bang for the buck. it will pull new customers away from the domestic type muscle?? they have come along way. i hope with MUSTANG 3 ford doesn't "KISS THE BABY"
So true.....Car companies have tried this 100times...4cyl turbos/SCs on 4cyl...but like the saying goes...No Matter How You Slice It....You Cant Beat A V8!!!
