Hello All:

Every year Watkins Glen International hosts the United States Vintage Grand Prix. Over 400 cars from all over the country compete over the course of the weekend. Every year, the track honors a certain car and this year they are honoring the Ford Mustang. For this occasion, I put together a group offer.

-Weekend General Admission Ticket (Good for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
-Paced laps around the racetrack on Saturday the 8th
-Special Parking in the Mustang Corral that allows track view
-Infield access to garage area and displays
-Children 18 and under Free
-Price: $35

The Tour de Marque has parade laps on Friday which is what you are apart of. To gain access to laps on Saturday with this offer, you will have to purchase this ticket offer.

It looks like we are staging for the 3 laps around the noon hour with a drivers meeting scheduled for 11:30. So, if anyone who wants to do the Saturday 3 laps of the Glen and enjoy the vendor area and park in the VIP corral parking should figure out a meeting time for entering the Glen together. I'm thinking meeting at the Watkins Glen Walmart parking lot no later than 10:15am and then cruise into the Glen together. What do you think everyone?

So here is the official plan for Saturday September 8th. Weather permitting of course.

Whoever is meeting up for Watkins Glen... The Rochester guys will be meeting at the Eastview Mall parking lot by Macy's. The meet time will be 8:30am. From there we leave around 8:45 or so for the Watkins Glen Walmart parking lot to meet up with any other Mustangs who are joining us. Meet time at the Glen Walmart will be 10:30-10:45. From there we will cruise together to the track and get into our Corral lot no later than 11:15. After our track meeting, we will stage and will probably get on the track by 1pm. Once our parade laps are complete we can park at our Corral spots again and enjoy some vintage racing, vendors and other stuff. If I missed anything, I'm sure stangman281v8 can fill us in.
