Default Caliper Bracket

I have a pair of 14" front brake rotors that I would like to install on my 2011 Mustang GT. I want to keep the factory calipers which gave been upgraded with new seals, pistons, brake lines, silicone brake fluid, etc. I upgrade the rotors to Power Stop drilled/slotted 13.22"; the factory size.Does anyone know where I could purchase the proper (extended?) bracket to mount the caliper in the proper position. I really don't want to go to a 14" conversion kit (rotor, bracket and bolts as they are ridiculously expensive. I just want more bite from the brakes.

I have seen the rear ones on Ebay, but never have seen the ones for the front. Only place is with the Baer 14inch rotors and extended brackets kit -about $700 for the front and $700 for the rear. Let me know how you make out.

Default Re: Caliper Bracket

I have seen the Baer Brake Conversion Kits, they are pricey considering caliper is not included. One of the reasons I bought the Power Stop Rotors (14" front and 14" rear) was cost and the availability of a rear extension brackets, which I already have. I thought the front brackets wouldn't be a problem. I have about $650 invested in the 4 slotted rotors and rear brackets. To start all over again, I would have to sell the 4 rotors with the rear brackets first, then purchase the Baer rotors.
Anyone with a Brembo Mustang GT or Boss 302 interested in new front rotors and upgrading their rear rotors with 14's? The rotors and brackets are NIB.
Asking $300.

Try to contact Baer, maybe you can get the front caliper parts without the rotors ? I have been thinking about the same upgrade for a few years but haven't pulled the trigger. I went with all the Go Fast Stuff, but not the Slow Down Stuff. Only driving her about 300 miles per year.

Default Re: Caliper Bracket

I called Baer. They do not sell the brackets separately. The reasoning is the bracket is designed specifically to position the caliper exactly over their rotor. Substituting other rotors could compromise the braking integrity.
