New York Mustang Club

All Ford show in the Albany area on July 21, 2012. This show is run by SVT Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC). Show is held in beautiful Saratoga Springs at the Saratoga Auto Museum.

This will be our 3rd annual car show at the Saratoga Auto Museum as part of their Lawn Show Series. The first year was simply a gathering of 50-something car enthusiasts - no judging, no awards, just a bunch of Mustang, Cobra, Shelby, and everything Ford from 1920's Model A's to brand new off-the-lot Fords were in attendance....everyone met, talked cars, and headed out a couple hours later. Last year because the first event was a success, we added a few trophies. Attendance was about the same. This year, there will be nicer awards, dash plaques, door prizes, and possibly a 50-50 raffle. Everyone gets FREE admission to the museum. A food and drink vendor will be set up on the premises as well. The SCMC is a club dedicated to 1993-2004 SVT Mustang Cobras and 2007-up Shelby GT500's.

The Fairlane Club of America will also be holding a mini meet in conjunction with the SVT Cobra Mustang Club Show. The FCOA is a club dedicated to 1962-76 Fairlaine, Torino, and their mid-size Mercury equivalents.

Any and all Fords, Lincolns, and Mercurys welcome - Cars, SUV's, Trucks.

If you are coming from out of town, the Saratoga Springs area is a beautiful place for a weekend away from home, with lots to do nearby. Visit the historic downtown for fine restaurants and shopping, horse racing, the casino, the county fair runs from the 17th-22nd, Saratoga Lake, or one of the many other lakes in the area, including massive Lake George and taking a cruise through the scenic Adirondack Mountains.

The time of the year is upon us where Rose Hill starts up again! Every Saturday at 6 the Rose Hill show opens up over on the Carvel side of the Parking Lot.

There are always TONS of cars there with a wide variety of cars from Classics to modern muscle. I believe there is an entrance fee to help support Thronwood Fire Department but I am not 100% certain on this. Not to mention there is a TON of places to eat, you have Silvios Pizza and KFC, Carvel, Chinese Food, A&P down on the other end of the plaza, CVS and if you need money Apple Bank is right there as well.
