Hi Guys,
For a while now iv been having issues with my front suspension. During parallel parking or while accelerating from a stop when my wheels are turned, iv been having a creaking/squeaking sound coming from my suspension. I did research online and most people say that its the ball joints. Here is the interesting part... 1.5 years ago, I went to a dealer who replaced my entire control arms because the ball joints were worn out. The bushings I have are less than a year old (I have the prothane ones from AM). I also though that maybe its the calipers but a few months ago I took them apart and fully greased every part of them.
I just checked the ball joins by trying to see if the wheel would wiggle and it did not. I'm assuming that the ball joints are not worn out. After all, they are 1.5 years old and I put around 10K miles on them.
Is it possible that the grease in the ball join somehow is gone and thats whats making the noise? I do have a grease gun and purchased a grease injector needle but before I pierce the boots and inject the grease, I wanted to get some feedback.
All stock suspension (except the sway bar bushing). Car has 58K Miles. Both control arms replaced by Ford dealer 1.5 years ago when car had about 48K miles.
Below is a video of what my suspension sounds like while turning. Thankfully it is NOT AS BAD as the video below but the suspension makes a similar sounds.
Ill add more info if I missed something. Any feedback would help. Thx.
