Default Anyone running/ever ran with solid motor mounts on the street?

Anyone?
I am considering getting a set of solid motor mounts for my car, reason being that I am considering running a larger turbo that would be mounted to the frame of the car due to its weight.
I have had a few people tell me that they did not notice a difference when changing from the urethane to the solid mounts, but my car is a street car and I would not want it to shake too much.
Opinions?

we had them in my buddys nova, didnt really notice too much of a difference and i know a countless number of st cars running them... but i also have heard some people complain about the vibrations, i guess it all comes down to your preference

I run solid mouts and a poly tranny mount, barely noticed any difference of vibration from stock.

Ran em in my 72 nova after constantly tearing up stock-style drivers side mounts. Barely felt a difference in vibrations from mount to mount, but that car vibrated regardless because of the cam, exhaust, and motor setup, plus lack of all sound deadening, foam, carpet, etc

Like others have said you'll probably be Ok with a V8. I tried them with the 2.3T & yanked them out after a 6 mile test drive.

You thinking T6 frame B/W or?

^^^ I am considering bullseye's s380 with their race cover. They trick is trying to make it fit with having to heavily modify my headers. It probably won't be until next winter though (currently doing suspension work). I do not want to have the car down during spring, summer, fall. Just doing some research ahead of time.

thanks everyone for your input
