Default Aeromotive fuel system guys step in please

I just finished installing my Aeromotive A1000 fuel system in my 88LX and I wanted to say thanks for the tips. Now to my problem : I installed the fuel rails as per the instructions with the spacers on the drivers side rail. With the spacers in the injectors all leak from the top and they arent sitting square in the bores. When I took the spacers out the leaks stopped, but now the front of the rail is hitting the distributor. Besides getting a smaller distributor what else can I do? Has anyone else had this problem?

I know on other rails you can switch off and use the hole between the two injectors and plug off the end as per your problem ..... or send it out and have a 45 tiged on!

I am already using the middle hole on the rail. The spacers are for clearance from the distributor according to the instructions. Without the spacers the end of the rail is digging into the side of the distributor.

I would guess the spacers are for that clearence problem.Buy a new set of o rings and see if it solves the problem. Sounds like you may an line to tight or to long, pulling or pushing on the rail when the spacers are installed. Wish I could be more of a help!

Yeah, the spacers are for distributor clearance. But when they are in all 4 injectors leak from the top. The spacers push the fuel rail too far out and the injectors sit crooked. When I remove the spacers and push the rail in the injectors are in line and there is no more leak.

I will have to try that. My injectors arent that old but it cant hurt. Where did you get the new o rings? The thing that bothers me is with the spacers in I can move the injectors up and down. I take the spacers out and the movement is gone. One more question : Do you lose fuel pressure as soon as you shut the car down?
