I just put in a pair of ford racing k springs.. shorty after everything was set and done i got in my car to find out i had no traction control or abs brakes, both lights were on and did not shut off..
The only thing I can think of is that when you reinstalled the abs sensors, they are not fully in. There is a bolt that holds them in. I would check to make sure they are not damaged. It is only a wire. Good luck.
I have these lights every once in a while also .. it's sporadic and they dont always stay on for my entire trip. I'll be interested to see what answers come from this ... Gregg ... I'll check out those sensors on mine.
there was no plug.. there was a wire going into the back of my brake setup (abs sensor) that was cracked at the top of the metal piece connecting wire and brake, could this be the problem?, also would that throw abs and traction control together ?
yeah, i have the hand computer to diagnose check engine lights but no codes were read im going to take it to a shop tomorrow to see if they have the other computer to read the abs and tcs light codes
i will also order the abs sensor and do the battery disconnect
ABS and Traction Control use the same wheel sensors. If any 1 of the 4 wheel-speed sensors doesn't work then both the ABS and Traction Control won't work.
I just changed my brakes and all the abs sensor and the lights are still on I'm so aggravated at this point. Also my traction control is off. Help please ?
