I am the second owner of this 117,980 mile 1989 Ford Mustang LX. It has always been adult owned. I bought this car from the original owner. He was also a customer of mine when I worked as a Ford Master Technician. The car is in good condition and highly modified. It is supercharged and a lot of time and money has gone into suspension and braking modifications in addition to everything else. It honestly turns and stops as well as my M3. It is set up with a stiff suspension and very aggressive brakes. It is also converted to manual brakes using the Maximum Motorsports kit. This provides consistent brake pedal feel although it requires more effort. If you are looking to sip your latte on the way to work while playing with your phone then this is definitely NOT the car for you. The car was tuned by Craig at Radical Racing in Jackson NJ. Due to my work schedule and the fact that I also have other vehicles I just don't have the time for a car like this anymore. I have every receipt from day one. All of parts were professionally installed, new, and only high quality components were used. The interior is in very good condition, all of the panels present and clean. The carpet shows normal wear for a 14 year old car. I'd rate the paint as 7 out of 10. The bumpers and side moldings have been repainted white to match the rest of the car. The rest of the paint is original. There are a couple of small door dings in the left and right rear quarters. The paint still has a good shine when washed and waxed. There is a very small amount of rust under the right corner of the hatch but it is very minor and has not spread. There are also a few chips in the rear spoiler that have been touched up. This seems to be very common with any Fox Body Mustang that I've ever owned. The only other thing that I can think that the car can use is a retune. The cold idle is choppy and surges when cold but much better when the engine is hot. Once it is warmed up it won't stall. There is also a small part of the tune that needs to be smoothed out where it transitions from stock map to stand alone. I was never happy with the driveability of the original tune at part throttle. It seems as if the tuner focused more on making power at wide open throttle. I would also recommend a larger supercharger pulley to reduce the boost a few pounds. Other than that the car is flawless. If you are looking for a clean, fast Fox then this may be the car for you. Most of these are beat by now. This car has been garage kept and is solid. I've priced this car to sell fast. I have seen many other cars not nearly as nice as this one going for more. The parts total alone is much more than the selling price. I'm sure that I'm leaving out something.
