81 Ford Fairmont 4 door turbocharged
Selling my 1981 Ford Fairmont, I drive the car daily and it runs excellent. 10 hole wheels, fronts are 4" wide, 2 sets of rears, 1 with 225/75/15 street tires and 1 with 255/60/15 Mickey drag radials (15 passes). Stock shortblock 302 roller engine, Edelbrock Performer heads, Cobra 1.7 rockers, 7qt oil pan, Cobra intake with 70mm throttle body, aluminum radiator, electric fan. BBK headers with V-bands, 2.5" crossover, On3 70mm turbo with .68 exhaust housing (new in April), 3" exhaust exiting in stock location, Xo2 44mm wastegate, 50mm BOV welded to IC, 3" coldside piping with front mount intercooler. PMAS 3" Protube, 42lb injectors, stock computer with SCT chip, MSD6al, Aeromotive fuel regulator, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump with filters, -8 Aeroquip pushloc feed and -6 pushloc return, sumped factory fuel tank. JPT C4 transmission, reverse manual valve body, deep pan, TCI convertor with anti-balloon plates (a little tight), B&M ratchet shifter Dynatech 3.5" custom driveshaft, safety hoop, 8.8 rear with 3.08 gears, 33spline Moser axles and spool. Anti-roll bar with Megabite lowers and boxed uppers. Tubular front K-member, tubular a-arms, and coilover kit, UPR c/c plates. Oil pressure, water temp, boost, fuel pressure gauges, AEM wideband and shift light. Power steering and heater are still on car and both work. I've probably missed something but you get the idea. Car made 441rwhp on mild boost, 11.41 @ 125.71. Convertor is tight and car would go quicker with it loosened a little. No cage in car and only allowed to run 11.50 at local track so didn't bother to have it re-stalled.
Drivetrain could be swapped into a Mustang easily if car isn't what you like. Super sleeper that you can drive anywhere, car was tuned by a good friend that has done 3 other cars for me.
$7000 complete or $6700 without Mickeys drag radials.

Re: 81 Ford Fairmont 4 door turbocharged
Car is alot of fun but want to finish up my wagon. It's not pretty but it's funny waxing cars that think it's just an old POS. Everything on the car will bolt into a Fox chassis so it would make a decent swap car for a Mustang fan.

Re: 81 Ford Fairmont 4 door turbocharged
Yes this is the same car. I was having fuel pump issues at the Mom's race, switched back to the A1000 and problem solved. Car really isn't worth alot, I would only take off $500 if you didn't want the car itself. It would take some work to take it apart.

Good luck with the sale! I saw you run this car at Esta at the test and tune a little while ago, definitely an awesome sleeper.
