Dan, you have my support anytime you need it, just cant make the meeting, working at a dealership you know how it is, im there till 9 on Wednesday. Anything you need as far as help from the western side of the side, you have my support and all my members support

Yeah, it would be nice..I've mentioned it to Walt and other members several times, had it in the newsletter, etc..Like I said, they are too involved with the North Country cruise the week before. They could have just as much fun if not more with this event.

Was in contact with Watkins Glen today. Waiting to see if the Porsche club is renewing the date again. But we could possibly do a track rental from 6-8. The cost as of now is $1900 an hour. We will most certainly need some major support if people really want to see this happen!! More info to follow.

we had 50 cars there, so thats 76.00 each I would pay the extra 50. Then you have to figure we would probably get up to 100 cars. brings the price around 38 each
Lets book it. I would prefer 5:00 to 7:00 due to darkness

Wow, didn't realize it cost that much for an hour. Two hours should be more than enough time.

There were 50 cars there? That's pretty good, better than last year. 76 each still isn't that bad if we are able to get 50 cars again. I could pitch in another 25 so you wouldn't have to do 50. 5 to 7 also sounds good to me.

Just want to pass on some comments from someone I was talking to a Metro Ford yesterday. They have been to the Rally 3 times now and said this was the best yet. They thought the Poker Run was really planned out perfectly this time. It was their anniversary on Friday at Watkins and it meant a lot to them to meet the President and get pics. They will be coming back for sure. They took tons of pics and video and going to present it at one of the local Mustang Club meetings and try to get them on board for next year. Dan and the committee, you guys are doing an awesome job! It doesn't matter if its only 100 cars, its a great time and thats what everyone remembers.

I like the ideas for the track. Maybe having it later is a good thing since people may have to work, gives them time to get out there. I have no problem paying $75 - $100. It'll be well worth it. I don't think they will give it to us at 5pm because I think they like to keep the Thunder Road open but maybe we can work something out with them.

This is for the peeps that wanted to make a vacation out of this next year. I'm going back out to the Finger Lakes next week and want to do some "research" for us. I have a few ideas floating around. I'm thinking of staying down in Watkins Glen Wed. and Thurs. They seem to have better boat rides available not to mention being closer to the track for Friday. After the track, we could head up to the Ramada. I found a gorgeous place on the lake, it is a bit more than the Ramada about $235 per night, really think it'd be worth it though. If you guys want to do this but cost is an issue, we could always stay at the Microtel in Geneva for the other 2 nights. I think its about $50 cheaper per night but we'd have to book early as they sold out very fast last year. Of course we don't get to hang out by the lake.
