The 2012 Mustang Rally of the Finger Lakes is set for August 3rd - 5th! Just like last year, we have a very fun weekend planned and this year will be even better! On Friday, we will again be going to Watkins Glen to do some laps.Saturday we will have the Car Show followed by the Parade. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que will be catering at the show. Sunday will be the Poker Run. Molly Saleen will be in at the event all 3 days!!


I am also proud to say that NYM is a sponsor and a vendor for the Rally. We will have some nice NYM merchandise for sale at the show! This is a big event requiring a lot of planning and work. There are some NYM members helping out and I just want to say Thank You to them in advance. NYStang (Alex) and 1988pony (Dave) are helping to promote the show and will be helping out with the vendor booth at the Rally. Let's also not forget the Boss Man Mike for agreeing to be a sponsor and helping out with the merchandise! Also, a HUGE thanks to Dan for all his planning and hard work to make this event happen!!

Meet at the Geneva Ramada at 12:00 for some and some lunch. Then cruise down to Watkins Glen.

Hotel Info:
If you need a Hotel, please book ASAP!! The hotels in this area fill up months in advance for weekends in the summer. If you are not sure whether you are coming, I recommend booking and then cancelling later on. You can always cancel but can't book what's not there! I have listed a couple below. Those of us coming from Albany area have already booked Thursday & Friday night at the Ramada (still available but website is showing limited availability). The Hampton and Microtel is sold out for Friday and Saturday. I will keep an eye on the sold out hotels and update if they free up. If anyone knows of other hotels, please post it up and I will add to this list!!

I might be able to come on Friday but if Nora decides to go with me, probably just all day Saturday. I'm thinking I'll bring the Mach 1 this year again as I'm going to have it wet sanded and buffed out soon. Should look great!

I will be making Friday at the Glen and Saturday for the show and parade, i wont be around for Sunday, i have a wedding to go to. I will be helping out Dawn with everyone on this side of the state, looking forward to seeing everyone again, we had a good time in the rain last year and there were still alot of people out, cant wait for this year
