Default 16" wheels on my 68?

I have some nice 16 x 8" chrome rims that fit on my 68 and I think they look good. What is a good tire size to run on that size rim and that car?

Hey Rich,
One of the guys I know from Vintage-Mustang.com has a web site & he has compiled a tire fitment guide for the classic Mustangs. His web site is www.dodgestang.com. Check it out, I hope that helps you make a decision on the tires for the 68.
Mike.

Great website Mike! I'm in the process of getting back my sister's 67' and that helped me a lot with figuring out if I could get away with modern 5 spokes off an 05' up on the classic. I'll have to do a 5 lug conversion but I should be able to find the rims for a fair price from some kid looking to put 20's on his new Mustang!

Alot of guys use the 99-04 Bullitt style rims with spacers on the older stangs.
