13's? your kidding right? with those heads, intake and that big ol turbo, you wil run much lower than 13's unless your stuffing it it a tractor trailer or something.

BlkStang89, I did not want to say anything because I did not want to kill your excitement about getting a power adder on your car, but I feel that I would not be doing you a favor by not telling you so here we go:

Those Ebay kits (including On3performance) are made with a low grade 304 stainless which will not stand to heat cycles and will crack. It's going to work, but not for a long time. I have a friend for which I built a Turbo system for his Honda around a header made of the same material, which he bought on Ebay and within 30 miles the wastegate flange dropped off the header. The only reason he did not lose his Tial 44mm wastegate was because it was hanging by the vacuum hose LOL. We had to take it apart and weld it again, then another crack developed around the collector, we had to take it apart again to fix it. I made a support for his Turbo so that the cylinder head would support the weight of the Turbo because I didn't think the header itself was going to last very long if it had to support it. It has worked so far but he has not driven the car a lot because of the climate.

Anyways, if you want to do more research on it, go to http://TheTurboForums.com formerly known as TurboMustangs.com, and do a search on the "Ebay kits" or even "On3performance" and you will see how this guy is getting grilled.
First, most of the members (who are very, very, very knowledgeable about turbos and high performance vehicles) feel that this guy is a cheat because he is tricking people out of their hard earned money by selling then an inferior product that will not last and will bring more heart ache than enjoyment.
Second, they have shown how the headers crack after a few heat cycles.
And most important, the guy said that his headers are of his original design and it has been proven (with pictures) that his kit is a COPY of the kit offered by PTK. It is presumed that he bought a PTK kit and sent it to China to be copied.
Anyways, you already have it, so run it and give us feedback. It'll help other members make a decision.

My recommendation for you (in the future) or anyone trying to put together a Turbo system is this:

-get a proven set of headers and downpipe (B&G or PonyDown performance..) around ~$500 for the headers and downpipe ~$300
-If you are on a tight budget, get yourself a Master Power Turbo, they are very affordable, at around $550 shipped, and it is a tested and proven unit.
-build your own cold side piping. You can use the genetic Ebay tubing and coupler kits and intercooler, just make sure the tubing is not too thin.

I did know want to rain on your parade, but I just felt that I needed to inform you. Maybe if you are prepared for it you wont get disappointed about Turbos and ditch them all together. they are a great power adder (maybe the greatest LOL, I might be a little biased, hahaha) but you need to get a nice quality set of headers, they are the heart and lungs of the whole thing.
If you need help in anyway just ask, I'll be more than happy to assist you.
Good luck with your project and take care

Oh forgot to mention, before putting everything in the car, make sure that all matting surfaces are nice and straight. Use a straight edge

How much compression you going to have with those heads? Too much will hurt your hp. Aslo is that a stock water pump? I know when you put a turbo on any car they run very hot. I would not put any " cheap " parts on this build or you may find yourself in a bad spot. This is just my .02.

Oh I forgot. If this system does work and you can get good traction you should be well into the 12's. IF YOU CAN GET IT TO HOOK.

it's not that higher compression hurts HP, the problem is that the Turbo or any other form of forced induction for that matter, will create higher cylinder pressure which can create detonation on and it is more noticeable in higher compression motors. If he is running stock (or lower) compression he should be fine, otherwise he just needs to run less boost or add water, meth injection to be safe.
As for the water pump, a stock unit should be fine. He should run it as is, if he runs into cooling problems he should upgrade as follows:
1- Fan ( Taurus, Focus or Mark fans are very popular, I am currently running a dual fan, dual speed fans out of a late model Nissan Maxima, anything from a late model Maxima or Altima is a great choice. I have never felt the high speed kick in when driving my car, never gets above 180* even while under boost. The nissan fans fit the Fox radiator really nice, I had to modify the shroud on mine to make it fit my SN)

2- Radiator, I currently run a Fluidine Radiator, but have seen one on Ebay (Mishimoto?) which seems to do the trick and it's a lilttle cheaper)

3-Water Pump. Any, higher flow than stock, should work. But I don't think it would be necessary with a nice set of Fans and decent radiator.

ya my water pump is a Ford Racing high volume pump and im looking for a good 3 core radiator and i have electric fans already. as for my compression its about 9.5:1 with my heads. and yeah i know its def not the best kit but i did a lot of research on the kit and the turbo. i emailed about 10 people that had already bought the kit and asked and they all said it was great especially for the price but yeah i def understand the risk of the kit not being the best one made. just gonna have to see what happends.. but thanks for all the help though it is appreciated
